About ripped jeans… this trend was quite hot a couple of years ago as a street style look and it seems to be back again as I have spotted many male fashion bloggers wearing ripped jeans.
So we wanted to share the love to alert you of this Hot trend in case you didnt know! Soooo in Cameroon and other African countries, you wouldnt typically find guys wearing their jeans like this unless they are young, of high school/college age, are street/market hustlers or are most likely in the entertainment biz where being fashionable and following trends, being daring and different is cool! The typical African guy might look down on ripped jeans as it could come across as being rugged or poor or whatever the reason is.

However, more and more African men (today’s modern African) who live in the Diaspora and who are educated, hold good jobs, have money and are resposnible are being seen rocking these on the weekend or during their time-off from corporate settings. Look’s can be deceiving and gone are the days when people feel the need to always “dress in a manner that allows people to know what their social status is.
