Welcome back Jems and Jents! This week on Fashion Week 237, we’ve spotted yet another amazingly talented fashion model who hails from the North West region of Cameroon and who happens to be my Woman Crush for Woman Crush Wednesday (#WCW)! Her name is Foje Jencey and this beautiful model and current Miss Cameroon North West recently made local news headlines in Cameroon in a controversy that still has people talking about it, when she fearlessly and boldly quit and backed out of the Miss Cameroon 2015 competition, although she was a strong favorite!
She turned to her modeling and lately has been seen modeling endlessly for designers such as Liiber London to name a few. She is the face of the new Change A/W Collection 2016 campaign for Liiber London as seen HERE. I love her modeling style and she is flawless and effortless and she is one to push the limits. She understands that modeling requires daring and bold moves as seen when she recently shaved off all her hair and went fully bald back in May 2015 right after she quit the Miss Cameroon 2015 competition. Talk about some bold moves!
It is not surprising that this beauty has just been nominated in two categories for the Best Model Look and Best Female Photo Model for the CAR Fashion Awards 2014-2015 as seen HERE and the winners will be announced on August 7th, 2015. Fingers crossed!! 🙂
Sometimes in life you have to take that bold step to open more doors and start a new beginning. To me, her hair shaving marked the beginning of a new phase in her modeling career and I can see her gracing the covers of magazines and in commercial prints soon!
