There are many people out there who are trying to make the world a better place in their own little way, be it through their philantrophic activities, education, religious activities and many other ways. One of such is Lum Irine Asanji (aka Lia LordIs Able or simply Lia on her social media platforms), a Cameroonian based in Canada who was recently nominated for the 2016 Cameroon Career Women Awards under the Inspirational Category.
For those who follow her work, it is not suprising that she was nominated under the ‘Inspirational’ category as Lia is an author, a minister and motivational speaker who also runs a Marriage and Family Enrichment Service called Talktolia, where she provides various services ranging from prayer and counseling services, public speaking, and much more. In May 2015, the multi-talented Lia was presented the prestigious Canada 100 Black Women to Watch Award by the Canada International Black Women Event (CIBWE). Not a bad addition to her resume and list of accomplishments! 🙂
With an educational background in Journalism and Mass Communication where she completed her B.Sc. from the University of Buea in Cameroon, its no wonder that Lia is a natural when it comes to media. “The Talktolia Show” is a series of shows that provides inspirational messages, general life experiences and much more so make sure to check it out on Talktolia.com! It is amazing how this diva does it all! By the way, make sure you get a copy of her book called “PHONECALL IN THE RAIN: Inspirational Journey to the Heart of a Growing Born Again Mother.” which was published and re-published in 2011 and 2013 respectively.
As if this is not enough, Lia is the proud mother of two lovely children (seen on her book cover above). It’s great to see Cameroonian’s making a positive impact to society and for that we wish Lia good luck in her nomination and keep up the great work.
