This hair style has several names: Bantu Knots, China Bumps and Biggie Dee (as it is called in Cameroon)! Rihanna has always been one to take risks and try new things and start new trends!

For women of color, having bantu knots for a few days is a good style to wear if you want a semi-protective hairstyle and if you want some curls on your tresses as seen in the picture below. Her curls are beautiful and this was done after having bantu knots on!
