2face and wife Annie Idibia have been slammed with a lawsuit by a photographer named Emmanuel Okolo. The photographer sued them along with a certain man named Antonio Anifite before Justice Mohammed Idris of the Federal High Court in Lagos. The photographer claimed that the couple used some of his pictures which were taken during their traditional marriage without giving him credit. He said the couple wrote www.2faceonline.com across 148 out of 355 pictures he took and uploaded on its official website, thereby denying him credit. The photographer also said he took 355 high resolution photographs for free on the condition that they should be credited to his company.
Therefore the couple breached the terms of the signed agreement and by writing 2faceonline.com across the pictures. He claims that he has suffered general and exemplary damages for which he is seeking N120m from the couple. 2face and Annie in their defense said he wasn’t invited to their wedding, he was just one of the numerous photographers who invade the venues of ceremonies to try and earn a living without the consent of the celebrants. The couple urged Justice Idris to dismiss the photographers suit and they also demanded N150m damages from him and his studio.
