Bridal makeup tips
- If you wear little makeup in your normal everyday life, your wedding day is not the day you want to be super adventurous and try a smokey eye – so please don’t do it. You should look like yourself. The same rule holds true if you are a huge makeup junkie like Kim Kardashian, then go ahead and be adventurous as people already know you for being a make up junkie.
- Many brides get their hair done professionally for their wedding but they don’t think of getting a professional makeup artist. If you’re booking a professional for your hair, do same for your makeup. Beautiful hair with a bad makeup job will dilute the beauty of the hair as people see your face first before your hair.
- Always make sure to consult with the make-up artist and do a “makeup trial” before your big day. You don’t want your wedding day to be a big surprise so don’t take chances.
- It doesn’t matter how big your eyes are or how glossy your lips look, if your skin is breaking out or oily, you won’t look your best on your wedding day. Your first priority should be making sure your skin looks great, then move on to your eyes, cheeks and lips.
