Biography/Discography
Born in 1994 in France, to Cameroonian parents and named Julien Bouadjie and known by his stage name Tayc, he has grown overtime to be named alongside top French singers, and is still very much on the rise.
With popular genres like Afrobeat, AfroPop, Hip-Hop, R&B his journey to greatness has just began. The songwriter and singer has come a long way in his career. He is the lyricist of a triple album titled “Nyxia” released in 2019, has two mixtapes and a number of singles to his name.
Signed by a member of Sexion D’assaut, Barrack Adama, he released his debut album in 2019 and went on to win the award for Francophone Revelation of the Year at the NRJ DJ Awards in 2020.
Six years before adopting music as his main hustle, he used to be a sports and dance instructor, and also sold burgers. His love and hunger for music eventually took over and is taking him places. Tayc is the man of the moment, sharing the spotlight with artists like Dadju.
His latest song “Le Temps” is breaking every single record. It has already recorded over 4.6 million views and over 912,000 subscribers on YouTube. In just one week, he is topping every chart on every streaming platform in his area in which he finds himself. The wind is relatively blowing in his favor.
His major hit “Ne Pense Plus à Lui” currently has over 48 million views on YouTube in just eight months. Tayc also made a memorable trip for his fans in Cameroon and set a scary record in terms of a massive turnout of fans, in the city of Douala.
