Right now the Cameroonian music industry is bombarding us with the release of new singles every day. During this time we are also seeing an influx in the release of EPs and some double EPs but not much word on actual studio Albums being released. Which made us ask “Why no Albums? Why are we mostly seeing EPs all over the place?” Not to say EPs are any less credible but it would be nice to have an actual Album… A hardcore album for several reasons which we will explain in a separate post.

Salatiel has been on a posting frenzy lately as he has been suing his personal Facebook page as a place to share his thoughts, provide updates and hints on upcoming projects.
This isn’t unlike other very well known and highly publicized artists and CEOs of Record labels who seem to always keep things on lock in a ‘hush hush’ manner and not keeping the media in the loop.

The music mogul who was recently in Europe and who just returned has seemingly had an extremely busy year. He also recently showed off his new music equipment which is a clear indication that he is cooking up something really HOT!
With the release of several new hit songs, there is no doubt that he did NOT COME HERE TO PLAY and is set on continuing to make an even bigger name for himself with the announcement of his upcoming first Studio album called #InTheNAMeOfLove.
We’re not exactly sure if the album title will be written as “In the Name Of Love” or with the hashtag as posted by him on his Facebook page but have an idea!
The singer also hinted that he “Had to chose 13 from a list of 50 songs To make the perfect Love Album…”! But there could be more songs. We’ve always known that artists change things up and nothing is final until its FINAL!
We could probably expect 13 songs with maybe one or two bonus tracks since he did say he had 50 songs to choose from. Why not surprise us with a couple of extra’s to play with You know what I mean?
So here’s what we do know about Salatiel’s up coming Studio Album:
- The Album will be called #InTheNameOfLove or “In The Name Of Love“
- There will be a minimum of 13 songs in this album
- One of the songs in teh album will include his new upcoming single featuring Daphné called Comme Ça
- The following FOUR songs will be the only released song that will be in the Album by the time of release of the Album: Toi & Moi, Femme de ma galère, Sans Complexe, and Comme Ça ft Daphné

We honestly cannot wait to hear this album. In a time when EPs seem to rule the Cameroonian music industry, and where you might find only 1 album released for every 50 EPs released, its VERY refreshing to know an album is coming from this super talented musician/song producer and CEO of one of Cameroon’s leading record labels in today’s time.
