We have artists like #Shephered who some years back were revolutionizing Cameroonian gospel. He teamed up with #Shemesh to release Cha Cha and this went viral. That was a hit and you can play that anyway today and people will still relate. Just the fact that the audience could relate and vibe increasingly to this song is just proof that, if these artists make their content readily available, fans will consume even if it will take time.
One good thing is that most of these artists are working hand in hand and a little bit of team work can bring change that will last. They must support one another and support Cameroonian creativity. Elizabeth Tekeh should not do a song and it’s not known in Cameroon but foreign content is trending.
NB: This is strictly focusing on Anglophone gospel singers and these are not all gospel artists. These are the ones who appear to be underrated/neglected.
