Gaëlo is an upcoming Cameroonian artist and record Producer who specializes in urban music. He started getting noticed from his highly applauded remix of Stanley Enow’s “Kingkong” track which is available HERE . Gaëlo brings in something fresh and new into the Cameroonian music scene which can be testified from his style of rap.
“Gold Digger Story” is his most recent release. This record had been selected and was part of the recently released Kurbain Tape 3 (a Cameroon music agency called “Kamer Urbain”). It has a west coast vibe to it and will be very much enjoyed by hip-hop fans.
In this record, Gaëlo is essentially talking about how he outsmarts gold diggers. He equally advises guys out there to watch out for these gold diggers who come to you only when you’re successful because they want to profit from something they didn’t work for. “Chase the money, and di chap they go chase you, loose the money, and di chap them go run you” – is the listener’s most memorable part of the lyrics because it’s self-explanatory.
