Brazilian female soccer legend – Marta vieira da silva, has now officially engaged her American teammate at club level and lesbian partner Carrie Lawrence.
On August 20th, 2024, Marta took to her Instagram page to announce that she had decided to engage her Orlando Pride teammate as she went on to share photos with caption “My forever”
Marta, 38, is considered the best female soccer player of all tunes. She has won the FIFA women’s best player six times while representing Brazil at the International level and Orlando Pride at club level.
She and her partner Carrie Lawrence, 27, have been dating since 2022 before eventually decided to engage each other in 2024.
Before their relationship, Marta, had been dating Toni Pressly, still her Orlando Pride teammate around 2021. They called off their engagement in 2021 before she went on to find love in the arms of Carrie who has accepted to spend forever with her.
