The movie “A Man For The Weekend” is now available for your viewing pleasure on #AirFrance and #BrusselsAirlines which means you must be flying one of these two airlines to be able to watch it. A Man For The Weekend officially premiered in Douala, Cameroon in Q4 of 2017 and stars 237 actresses SyndyEmade, Florence Ojong, Naija actor Alexx Ekubo and other actors. The movie premiered with decent reviews by those who attended the premiere. However, although THJ had done a couple of posts on it in 2017, we are yet to watch the movie and give our review of it. But you our lucky readers can watch it if you are lucky enough to fly the two aforementioned airlines lol!
So the next time you fly these airlines, check it out and then come back and tell us how the movie was. Now going back to the main topic of discussion, when we announced on our Instagram page that the movie is now available via these two airline, the announcement was met with a not so good reaction. . Some questioned why the movie (which was filmed on Cameroon and directed and produced by Cameroonians with majority of its actors being Cameroonians), that was released over a year ago was still not accessible to the local Cameroonian people yet it is being shown on foreign airlines and not even Cameroon’s national airline Camair.
Here are some of the comments which sparked a discussion that even we THJ could not ignore:
