Cameroon has had yet another great loss in the Entertainment industry. Just a couple of days after the passing of Cameroonian stylist and designer Patou Manga, Cameroonian music artist Achalle has passed away. The winner of Stars 2 Demain music competition in 20016/2007 reportedly passed away this morning after battling with Liver Cancer.
A facebook user named Vallycool Cool who apparently was a close friend to Achalle (Starboy Achaley), announced the death of the music artist with the following post;
Starboy Achaley is no more, he died this morning at 5:30a.m at the limbe General Hospital. He has suffered with liver cancer, the disease which ‘claimed the singer/songwriter’s life’. He was the 1st winner of Star de demain 2006/07. He passed away at the aged 30 after living with the liver disease for more than 3 years.
However, his death came as a shock to most Cameroonian including his mother-like aunty Colette Bovelette who said it was a “complete surprise”.
Months before his death, Achaley released his last album Ebolo which has been hitting the air waves, on trace Tv and all other tv channels in Cameroon. Achaley a graduate from the university Buea, released his first album feeling insecure which was a hit song in Cameroon. I am proud to say I was part of the making of this song, and part of his music career. He will forever be the best vocalist Cameroon has ever had.

It is a very sad period for Cameroonians and Music lovers around. We at THJ extend our heartfelt condolences to his Family and may his soul Rest In Peace.
