Hi THJ’ers! Guess what? There is a new fashion collection by a Designer called Liz Ngwane who currently resides in Cameroon. Liz’s fashion brand is called Margo’s Mode and we spotted some of her work earlier this year and noted that the brand has a variety of styles ranging from fresh, cool street style looks to dresses you could wear for a formal evening out. Her brand uses both African print fabric and non-printed fabric.
Margo’s Mode’s new Colletion is simply called the “H” Collection and it is inspired by the female warriors of The Japanese Edo Preiod. According to the designer, “Behind the female soft exterior, lies a warrior. My muse has a quiet, confidence that screams loud. She’s humble, but strong. She’s stable but rebelious She’s giving but not naive.” Liz when on to say about her muse that “She chooses her battles wisely, stays silent until it’s time to fight and when the time comes, She will fight and definitely Win.”
By the way, the jackets in this collection are made up off cotton fabrics and insulators to keep you warm while looking stylish! OK Liz Ngwane, we love the reasoning behind this collection already! There is nothing more refreshing than having a designer who knows exactly what he/she wants their collection to represent! Addtionally the designer indicated that the “H” collection also aims to tell people that the different seasons of the year should not define how one should look. Just get the right pieces to wear as a classic chick stays classy no matter what season it is. Thanks for sharing this lovely collection with The HotJem.
