“Growing up, in Cameroon, music was clearly not a viable career option. I might have been messing around at home writing lyrics or hanging out in studios and emceeing at parties but only after high school did I see music production and just creative arts as something I wanted to pursue and make a life out of” says Tino Foy who is an artist from Cameroon who moved back to Cameroon after his studies in the US to pursue a career in music!
According to singer/songwriter Tino Foy, he would never have considered a career as a music producer, ever, if he had not traveled to live in the U.S. This young and talented artist continues by saying that he loves music and likes to sing and come up with songs for others to sing. With a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management and having started (and then quitting an MBA program), Tino found out that music production was his passion and so he decided to suck it up and follow his long time dream of becoming a musician.
One thing is for sure, Tino is out to change the music game and with his fresh new and “haut” mentality, we can expect him to come up with fresh new work (and not copied material)! Tino’s debut EP called Imported Bullshit is expected to be released in the summer of 2016 so be on the look out for it! Read more about Tino Foy HERE and his Twitter handle is @tinofoy.
