“For every righteous course, Peace and justice are inseparable” – Pascal
The rapper who recently released his latest comeback project called Pikin4Sun, is among some of the artists in Cameroon who have made it public that they want peace in a time when Cameroon is facing a crises known as the Anglophone Crises. The crises which involves constant clashes between the secessionists or independently created Ambazonian army versus the countries National army has led to many being left for dead and a lot of commotion with people fleeing their homes in the NW and SW Regions of Cameroon to the French speaking Regions of Cameroon like Douala and Yaounde (and even to Nigeria) for safety.
In these photos, we see Pascal who hails from the NW Region of Cameroon, showing off the Toghu which is a traditional fabric worn among many from that Region. Not only is Pascal Standing For Peace, but his wearing of the Toghu is significant as it depicts his love and pride for his heritage being the NW Region of Cameroon which has notably been very highly affected by the current situation. We love his creativity in this photo shoot, which sends out many messages of love, peace and togetherness with the use of his entourage helping to make it seem more impactful.
Other celebrities who are taking part in this or similar campaign but with the hashtag #WeNeedPeace are Salatiel who (along with other celebrities such as Daphne, Mr. Leo, Pitt Baccardi, Ko-C, Blanche Bailly to name a few) just released a new song called We Need Peace on October 1st.

“There can be no justice without peace and Vice versa!
Without justice, peace is just an illusion.
And without peace, injustice is bound to continue.
Stand for something, or fall for anything.
