In a series of tweets yesterday (as seen below), Krstyn Enem turned to Twitter to show her digsut for Burna Boy whom she said is “very ill mannered and arrogant”. She went on to Tweet about how badly behaved Nigerian artists were! To make a long story short, she and her team were given the run around by popular Nigerian artist Burna Boy and his management team for an interview of him that she wanted to do for her talk show. After a few interview time slots were confirmed by Burna Boy’s team as to when he would be available for an interview, Burna Boy was a NO SHOW and Krstyn was not having it. Read some of her tweets:
Is this “No show” attitude typical of artists? Yes! In a world where artists feel entitled, this is not new (at least not to some of us who have tried to reach out to many artists in the past). The question is – Does Burna Boy even care that he “behaved badly” or that his alleged attitude stinks? I highly doubt it but the bottom line is why give people the run around if you know you will not commit to something? You either do it or you dont! It’s not by force oh! Life does not have to be that difficult!!
