CAMEROONIANS MUST START BELIEVING IN HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
After a successful launching of Biggy 237 (a Cameroonian reality show that almost’s mimics Big Brother Naija), on Friday, January 10, in Douala, Cameroon, the initiative has faced gross criticism from not even foreign countries but from Cameroonian’s as well.
The question one might want to ask is, “Why do Cameroonian’s hate humble beginnings so much?”
The truth about why most Cameroonian initiatives start and later on cease to exist is because they don’t want to creep nor walk. Most just want to run or even worst fly and most of the times, they don’t have the wings needed to fly as fast and as high as they want, so when they can’t last in the sky for long, they crash and drop on the ground injured. Thus, taking a long time to rehabilitate.
The reason why I think Biggy 237 is completely different from many other initiatives similar to it is because they used the little they had, to take that first step. Even if scary, they just did it. The launching shows that there is hope and there is reason to believe in the little drops that could form an ocean.
