Popular Cameroonian comedy duo Caro and Copees of Copees Comedy World have officially parted ways after five years of collaborating together. In an exclusive interview granted to “The 6 Studios” with media personality MC Dibenja, Caro explained that they had parted ways sadly but amicably.
Caro whose real names are Lilian Mbeng, revealed that she knew from the beginning of their collaboration that the group would one day separate, hence she has been working on her personal brand for quite some time. She and her partner Copess whose real names are Lovert Lambe, built a strong brand together which saw them traveling to Nigeria, Canada, and Dubai, and saw the signing multiple brand ambassador deals during their time of together.
After returning from their trip to Canada, they parted ways, however it wasn’t officially announced, even if there were speculations from their fans. It was only confirmed recently by Caro who is currently in Cameroon and fully venturing into the movie industry. Copees now resides in Canada.
Everything that has a beginning has an end, however, you can choose to end it amicably or in bad terms and Caro and Copees have shown us that not all partnerships must end badly. In fact, given the nature of the Cameroonian industry over the last six years, most partnerships in the entertainment industry have not ended in good terms leaving behind unnecessary tension.
For these reasons, we applaud these two for parting ways amicably, with no scandals linked to their departure, at the peak of their success with an action plan to do more to continue building their respective brands and not starting all over due unexpected separation as faced by most entertainers.
Another revelation Caro made is that they didn’t have any intimate relationship as they made the public to believe. This revelation has shocked fans of the comedy suo since many believed otherwise.
