The HotJem, was at the premiere interviewing some of the stars and checking out who wore what. The official red carpet hosts were media personality Vicky Fokala and radio personality and artists Nabil FonGod and theme for the movie premiere was “The Great Gatsby” which means we expected to see old Hollywood 1020’s fashion styles made up of attire with either metallic thread, beading sequins, metallic thread, velvet, ruffled skirts, tiered layers, crochet, lace, gloves.
When we think Great Gatsby, we think of vintage and elegance. Women holding long slim cigarettes wearing fascinator-like hats with a feather on it all come to mind to fit this theme. There were some hits and misses from a fashion perspective as some missed the memo and had other fashion plans that made them stand out.
