Yesterday’s UEFA Champions League matches were full of action and excitement as PSG and Barcelona showed their strength with big wins.
PSG 3 – 1 Aston Villa
The night started with a surprise when Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers scored an early goal. But PSG answered quickly—just three minutes later—with a fantastic shot from Desire Doué. From that moment, PSG took full control of the game. Aston Villa couldn’t keep up with PSG’s speed and passing.
Later in the match, PSG’s Georgian star Kvaratskhelia, known as “Kvara,” scored a stunning goal that wowed the fans. As the game was coming to an end, Nuno Mendes added one more goal, sealing the victory at 3-1. Aston Villa tried, but they never really looked dangerous throughout the match.
Barcelona 4 – 0 Borussia Dortmund
Over in Spain, Barcelona gave Dortmund no breathing room. It was one-way traffic all night. The first goal came in a strange way—young defender Cubarsí’s shot was already going in, but Raphinha touched it right on the line to make sure.
Then came the star of the night, Robert Lewandowski, who scored two classy goals to make it 3-0. But Barcelona wasn’t done yet. Youngster Lamine Yamal scored a beautiful low shot to finish the game in style. Dortmund struggled all evening and barely had a chance to shoot.
Barcelona now head into the second leg with a big advantage. For Dortmund, it will take something magical in the return leg to turn things around.
The second legs will be played on April 15 and 16. Fans are now looking forward to see if Aston Villa and Dortmund can come back—or if PSG and Barcelona will finish the job and move into the next round.
