The highly anticipated all new season of “EMPIRE” is set to kick off next month and FOX has just released a video teaser and announced the season premiere date.
The season two finale had Jamal (Jussie Smollett) taking a bullet for Lucious (Terrence Howard), Lucious marrying Anika (Grace Gealey) for legal purposes, and either Anika or Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday) falling to their presumed death off of a balcony.
With Cookie Lyon ready to fight for her family back and the teaser hinting rekindled love between Lucious and Cookie, there is definitely going to be a lot happening in Season 3 of the Television series.
Season 3, which will be offering viewers more insight into the younger lives of Lucious and Cookie, has cast Jeremy Carver and Ajiona Alexus as the younger version of the duo. Mariah Carey, French Montanna, Birdman, Taye Digg and Sierra McClain have also been announced as the newest additions to the show.
