Popular Portuguese soccer icon, Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentine model Georgiana Rodriguez could finally be getting married after eight years.
Ronaldo 39, has been dating Rodriguez since 2016, however they both revealed their intentions of not being in a hurry to tie the knot, even though they have been together for eight years and have children.
Ronaldo and the Argentinian model share two daughters of their own; Alana Martina and Bella Esmeralda. In April 2022, Ronaldo and Rodriguez announced that one of their twins, a son, died during childbirth. The couple has been raising the soccer legend’s five kids together which include three of Ronaldo’s children from his previous relationships. .
In an interview with Piers Morgan in November 2022, Ronaldo spoke highly of Rodriguez. He said she has been an amazing mother to all their kids.
Despite that, Cristiano and Georgiana, have been together and they even moved to Saudi Arabia together following the former Real Madrid star’s groundbreaking $200 million move to AL Nassr from Manchester United.
Georgiana has drawn the attention of fans online by posting the following photo on social media. Ronaldo hasn’t reacted to the post as of now, but media outlets have been buzzing, following Georgiana’s post (see photo below).
The invitation posted by Rodriguez says “Announcement”. Below it, there is an envelope with a heart ❤️ sticker on it followed by “& Georgiana Rodriguez”. The date on the invitation suggests that the undisclosed event will take place on March 5, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Is this a wedding invitation from Ronaldo and Rodriguez for a possible wedding? Why hide his name if it is when the world knows they are together? Only time will tell.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s club, Al Nassr, lost its first quarter final game earlier on Monday in the AFC Champions League first leg clash. The Al Nassr captain will put the loss aside and focus on the event happening on Tuesday.
While many are paranoid that Georgiana might be marrying another person instead of Ronaldo, fans are still convinced it can not be another man, as Georgiana recently dressed in a CR7 Manester United inspired gown with the five time Ballon D’or winner’s last name and iconic number 7 imprinted on it at the just-ended Paris Fashion Week.
Georgiana, has been quite supportive of Cristiano Ronaldo, showing up at Riyadh almost every match-day to support him, as well as taking care of their children. It would be shocking if she wasn’t getting married to the influential soccer star.
