Controversy is a part and parcel of the entertainment industry. In as much as it sometimes generates hate and conflict, controversies stir up more buzz and attention than non-controversial news, which is sometimes good for artists and their career. The outcome of controversy isn’t always productive, as it can sometimes be depressive. Credit to those who always see the opportunity in it anyway.
The last few weeks have been fierce in the Cameroonian entertainment industry especially in the music sphere. The controversy around placing a ban on foreign music and content didn’t sit well with most but it is what it is.
Tzy Panchak was caught in the mix with event planner and artist manager Prince Mykel Enobi for allegedly disrespecting Cameroonian artists when Enobi challenged any Cameroonian artist who could sell out a show in Cameroon. While all the drama was building up, a confident Blanche Bailly Who trust in the power of her fans snatched the opportunity and relished the challenge. In this regard, Tzy and Blanche have been the main talking points of the saga. Both are making something out of the attention.
In the days ahead, Tzy Panchak and Blanche Bailly will be releasing a song titled Jaloux. We are anticipating a beautiful piece from this duo as this is Bailly’s full return to the music scene after taking maternal leave. We are also expecting her to also be use this opportunity to address the accusations by her fellow colleague – Z-TRA La poupée Verte who called her out for stealing her song.
It should be noted that Bailly and Panchak hadn’t collaborated before now, even though both are from one city. Let’s anticipate Blanche’s sumptuousness and Tzy’s charm when Jaloux drops!!
