The Bonteh Digital Media Awards went down on December 17 in Douala at the Hotel La Falaise. The BDMA is the only award show in Cameroon that awards Cameroonian media and digital personalities.
The night went down like no other with artists like Salatiel and Montess stealing the show with their performances.
One person that caught our attention was Calabash Music CEO and one of Cameroon’s headlining artists and entrepreneur Wax Dey. As one of the key performers of the night, he threw a remarkable performance and did not leave the stage without leaving us something to talk about.
While performing on stage performing one of his songs called ‘Mangafuli‘ (featuring Mr. Leo and Locko), he brought onto the stage a pretty brown skinned lady who’s beauty and entire physical attributes seemed to have caused Wax Dey to pause for a second during his performance as he stared or took an extraordinary extensive glare at the lady’s buttocks and seemingly losing focus on his performance. The moment was captured in photos taken by photographer “Switch for TV” and was shared on multiple platforms online. Many fans think he had momentarily lost concentration as he was mesmerized by the unknown lady’s shape. His act should not be taken the wrong way. If indeed he was checking her out, then it was probably in admiration as women are beautiful right?
After analyzing the photo, we at The HotJem think it was just a moment caught by the camera that got caught up into more interpretation than needed but you never know, as who is to say that he wasn’t checking this beautiful queens assets out. After all, he is King Wax Dey. What do you think?
