As football was losing its grounds, music was continuously rising and taking over. There was a revolution in Cameroonian music. New acts like Jovi and Stanley Enow had come to change the whole look of things and the music game and did they do it? Yes they did! They were emphatic and persistent with their art and the rest is history.
They made themselves the talk of the town, they successfully branded themselves and build themselves a loyal fans that could die for them as seen especially with Jovi’s fans. These fans loved and still love them. Many of them would kill for their favorite artists but the question you might want to ask is can they kill for the “Cameroonian entertainment industry?”
It’s unarguable that their icons made them love music and even more, but would they still give in the same energy for the industry if their icons were no more? I doubt! All the fans used to have for the artists was love but the conflicts between artists like Jovi and Enow has not only brought tension but enmity. What used to be entertainment is suddenly becoming a life threatening battle.
