I read somewhere that “Collaboration is the new Competition” and who can argue with that? As they say, team work makes the dream work and all this is possible with mutual respect. There is really no need to emphasize the importance of collaboration and team work whether in music or movies or in whatsoever, but there is a need for emphasis to be laid on the fact that not everyone must collaborate. It is better that people are not part of a thing and stay on their lane than be in it and not act accordingly, because truth be told, it can be achieved without them. It is only bad when they are not part of it but not want to see it work.
Take for example, the music industry of Cameroon (where I’m from), whose foundation was seemingly laid on “beefing with one another”. This negative energy has clearly earned us little or no international awards and has kept us lagging behind. Therefore, it is clear to me, and hopefully to you that bad energy cannot take the industry anywhere. After listening to the song “Energy” by Cameroonian artists Tzy Panchak featuring Ko-c, it is quite clear that the two artists believe that we all need one another to succeed. In my opinion, there is nothing new in the song, as it is the same thing they have been saying and it is high time we stop making excuses and start teaming up to make magic.
Bad energy will always exist in and outside of the entertainment industry, but that should not be a stumbling block limiting growth. There is no question mark as to what Blu Nation Recording has achieved and has done for the industry through their artist Tzy Panchak, and with him playing a key role in discovering and successfully teaming up and/or collaborating with upcoming singers, as well as with established names in the industry. It only shows that team work is very necessary to push the industry forward.
