Evangelist Elizabeth Tekeh is proving that the older generation that influenced the new generation are still very relevant, and can influence the conversation to any extent. With over two decades in the music industry, she has shown yet again, that she’s more than just a gospel singer. Her musical content is not only edifying, but evangelical and counseling. It might not be what many want to hear, but we’d admit, it’s pure evangelism. It didn’t start today anyways, her older songs still preach the same values.
It’s not a bad thing to try new things, as there is always constant change in trends. But, it is worthwhile to have a unique style that you can be noticed for, and she has had that for decades. The joyous acceptance by fans, when she made a comeback into the gospel scene a few months ago, after a long time out of action proved that a lot was missing.
However, you would have thought that the pressure, demands or scramble for new content would make her deviate to please fanatics, but her values have remained unchangeable. The release of her Album, “Record of Life”, is still trending, and she just released a new song. The new song titled “I Get My Day” is shot under the auspices of Tekeh Music World.
We’re convinced, she is only one of the few Cameroonian gospel artists, who can fill up a 5,000 capacity arena with a concert effortlessly.
