It’s been 3 days since we’ve finally had the luxury of listening to what should have been the original official AWCON theme released by Alpha Better Records from the get go and not the “disaster” of a song which was sang by Charlotte Dipanda last month!!
The prides of this record label (Salatiel and Mr. Leo) feature a few of Cameroon’s hottest entertainers (Mink’s, Valdez, Daphne, Mary A) in a thrilling new-school AWCON song entitled “We Are Champions” for the upcoming Nations Cup happening this month. In less than 24 hours of its release on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 the song made a huge impact on the masses and became the new gossip on social media!

Is it surprising that this recod label had such a hit within 24 hours? Especially when Alpha Better Records Founder and CEO is Salatiel (who is one of the hottest Producers in Cameroon right now) and when Mr. Leo is the first signed artist to this label. It has other signed artists such as Askia and Rude Bway. So its no wonder that Alpha Better Records takes delight in feeding the public with good music. Bearing in mind that football has always been a passion and lit a fire in the hearts of Cameroonians AWCON proves to be a good way to step in again with just the right song for the event. “We Are Champions” is designed to send the message to the whole of Africa while keeping everyone on their feet – dancing.
