“I am vegan. I don’t eat meat or any animal bi-products any more…”– BeingNgang
THJ: Are you a vegetarian foodie and what made you become vegan especially coming from a society where most of the dishes are driven by meat, fish etc.?
BeingNgang: I am vegan. I don’t eat meat or any animal bi-products any more and actually the American cuisine has more meat that the African cuisine. Anyway, when I got to America everyone else that got here with me, got bigger or fat. I didn’t want none of that, So I started trying new diet plans and eventually stumbled in the vegan lifestyle. THJ: On any given day what would you consider your general fashion style to be like and what are you most comfortable in?
BeingNgang: I would say casual. However I tend to treat dress pants like joggers. So maybe my casual really might be someone’s formal.
THJ: As someone who is in fashion and entertainment, is there constant pressure to always look good even during your down time when you are not acting as an entertainer or model?
BeingNgang: Is funny you think I am a model. I am a businessman and presentation is everything. So yes, I do make an effort to look my best every time I leave my place and it is not because of pressure at all. It is a lifestyle.
THJ: What are two items (clothes/accessories) you cannot travel without?
Dress pants and a t-shirt, if it comes to the worst , I would be casual but still be presentable enough to be listened to.
THJ: Name two things that guys should always have in their closets even if they are not into fashion and do not follow fashion trends?
BeingNgang: Dress pants and Sneakers/Tennis shoes. I combine these two a lot.
THJ: How does your music style influence your personal style if at all? How important is what you wear to your music and brand?
BeingNgang: I don’t think any of what I wear is worn for music at all. I wear stuff coz I think it looks great on me. As for my personal brand, I can sum it up in 3 words:, Voguish (fashion), Vegan(diet), Visionary(art). I have uphold the voguish as well as all other parts at all times.
