Cameroonian fashion brand Margo’s Mode is back and this time stronger than ever with is latest collection called “PIN ME” that was recently revealed to the public. One thing we love about this brand is that unlike many others, it’s designer and Founder Liz Ngwane always puts a lot of thought into her designs for every collection she releases. Liz says that “Each collection I make tells a story, imparting emotion, sincerity, and depth to my clothing, making them not just garments, not just fabric, but a tale from the heart.” This is a great characteristic for building a solid fashion brand as the customer can feel the passion put into each outfit worn when they hear the story.
So why the name PIN ME for this collection? PIN ME tells a story of promises made and promises broken to a women by men as ‘PIN ME’ is a collection based on the hopes of a promise that is only to be taken away. Inspired by the pinning of a woman by a man as a promise of Love ‘PIN ME’ combines romance and heartache; the optimism of being pinned with the devastation of having your heart pierced. Now that’s deep! I mean would have thought of the concept of promises made and promises broken and pinning a women by a man, just to create a collection?
Well the answer is Margo’s Mode is and this is why they continue to stand out of the crowd and are taking fashion and designing to another level by taking it up a notch. As usual, they have a few new designs for the men as well. In this collection, there are very few ankara inspired outfits as seen on their model Michelle.
