The HotJem was present for all three days and was represented by Biradzem Benoit Yuven, lead content writer for TheHotJem.com, who made sure he didn’t miss out on anything that was discussed for all the three days. There were in total five Anglophone bloggers that showed up and attended the summit and to see how they could be part of the initiative in the long run.
The main objective of this summit was to possibly integrate the two blogging systems of Cameroon, and to see how it could be used as tool for development. The official sponsors of the three day event were ActivSpaces, TV5 Monde Afrique, Nestle Cameroon, the SABC and the United Nations, all of who seemed to understand the importance of blogging in the community and with respect to the United Nations, how it could be used to attain it’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
