Main topics of discussion
The bloggers were interested in learning how to make blogging an income generating machine and not just some time wasting activity or hobby as it is considered by many in Cameroon. Both upcoming and established bloggers, all shared their thoughts and experiences on how their blogging practices can be improved to not only generate income, but to consider blogging as an eventual career path as seen with bloggers from other African countries and other parts of the world where bloggers make good money.
The bloggers, both Anglophone and Francophone, were randomly placed into seven groups with each group being assigned a topic of discussion, all aimed at ameliorating the blogging image and challenges in Cameroon. According the program, each group was supposed to have at least five members, but due the fact some bloggers did not show up, some groups had less than five people. This was not issue as the group topics were well handled and well presented by the groups with less than five people.
