Wife of Cameroon’s President, Chantal Biya nicknamed “Madame Chantou” by Cameroonians celebrates her 49th birthday today. Her birthday sparked a lot of negative comments from many on how she looks much older than her age. Many also made reference to Chantal and her husband enjoying life while many citizen (especially anglophones) were suffering and had no jobs. Whatever the case, it is clear that these two enjoyed themselves on her birthday.

Also noted is her 83 year old husband, President Paul Biya, rocking his signature hat and looking like a “Don” in his white on white choice of outfit coupled with what we can only assume is a silk neck scarf. He sure knows how to stay stylish during his off times. There were some nice comments… about her birthday cake, which some jokingly said was more “made up” than the 1st lady herself.
