2) The first edition of the Urban Jamz Awards was in 2016, with the first one taking place in Buea. He has successfully been able to gain attention and support from many Cameroonians living in the diaspora from the US to Canada to Europe resulting in majority of the sponsors for the Urban Jamz Awards are from Cameroonians living in the Diaspora (and not in Cameroon) which is not typically seen with most independent Awards shows held in Cameroon.
