4 ARTISTS CRY OUT FOR PEACE IN A SONG CALLED “STAND 4 PEACE” IN LIGHT OF THE POLITICAL CLIMATE IN CAMEROON
Niki Heat Entertainment announces the launch of a campaign to promote peace through music with a song titled “Stand for Peace”. A great piece of music has a lot to do with being in the right place at the right time and the artists involved in this project believe a message of peace is relevant to the times we face.
#Stand4Peace’ is a campaign to create awareness about music’s power to inspire peace and it was a collaboration between LesLine (semi-finalist at The Voice Afrique) and 3 of her peers: Blaise B, Ewube and Malgic. As mentioned on LesLine’s Instagram page seen below, the song was mainly inspired by the current situation going on in Cameroon (resulting from the struggle and unstable as the political climate in Cameroon).
The song’s release date which was on September 21st, 2018 coincided with The International Day of Peace (“Peace Day”) which is observed around the world each year. Established in 1981 by unanimous United Nations resolution, Peace Day provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace.
