Franco Bonghan, CEO of Franco Records, a US based Cameroonian record label took to his Facebook page today to call out Amah Bertrand, a Cameroonian Fashion Designer and owner of Amah Fashion House based in Bamenda, Cameroon who is known for making trendy Agbadas and called the Fashion designer a Scammer. Franco who seemed very frustrated as seen in his comments kept on warning everyone to stay away from Amah Bertrand and indicated that he had paid the designer approximately $350 for an order he made for clothes to be made (he did not indicate how many outfits Bertrand was commissioned to make) back in November and the designer has been giving him excuse after excuse as to why the order has not been completed.
Other people jumped into what turned out to be a series of comments addressing this accusations and some admitted that they too were victims of Amah’s alleged scams. Others were not surprised by this accusations and from their comments, you got the sense that Bertrand might have a reputation of being an alleged scammer. Our overall observation based on peoples comments pouring in was that there is a lot more than meets the eye and we still need to hear Amah Bertrand’s side of the story to get a full 360 scenerio. In the court of law, Bertrand is innocent until proven guilty. We won’t bore you with the bits and piece. Read the Facebook comments in relation to this accusation made by Franco.
