The 42 year old former Super Model, TV show host and business woman is set to lecture and co-teach a class on creating and protecting brands at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business
The course — Project You: Building and Extending Your Personal Brand — is intended to teach students how to promote themselves. About 25 graduate students will have the opportunity to enroll in the course and learn from Banks for two weeks next May.
On Monday, Banks tweeted about the course;
“I’m beyond excited to teach,” she wrote. “It’s in my blood and I can’t wait to meet my students.”
She also tweeted “Class is in session (in 2017). And there will be no Smizing course. Sorry to disappoint. #Stanford“.
Sorry for the students who wre expecting Model 101 lessons too.
Tyra Banks who will definitely bring more glamour to the classroom than most is not the first celebrity to teach. Actress Angelina Jolie, who serves as special envoy to the United Nations, is also set to co-teach a masters course on women, gender and security at the London School of Economics.
