Adjoumani Amoin Kouakou Valerie, popularly known as Grace Valerie, is an Ivorian gospel minister known worldwide for her song “J’aime ta présence” (I Love Your Presence).
Grace is a monumental figure in African gospel music who doesn’t really get the deserved plaudits for her works.
After the release of her aforementioned hit song, Grace’s career forever changed for good. The track didn’t only make her go viral but it also opened the eyes of gospel lovers as Ivorian gospel is concerned.
Besides her musical career, she holds a management position at an international financial institution in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. After accepting Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior, Grace Valerie discovered a calling in praise and worship. She attended the Ministry of the Proclamation of the Gospel of Redemption (MPER).
In 2007, Grace Valerie released her first album, “The Liberator.” Her second album, “I Love Your Presence,” was released on March 8, 2015. The solemn promise Jesus made to us to be with us every day (Matthew 28:20), assisting us with his divine presence, working in us and through us by the power of his Spirit.
In just nine years, “J’aime ta presence” has amassed over 54 million views on YouTube alone. That only highlights how impactful she has been all these years with her music.
Are you traveling or just at home longing for an inspirational song, rush to YouTube now and listen to Grace’s music and it will be difficult for you not to get into the mood.
