In Ghana, there is a powerful Ghanaian Gospel Minister with a sorrowful but very motivational story. Born Betty Boache and well known in the Ghanaian show business industry as “Onyameba”, Betty wasn’t born wearing crutches or using a wheelchair.
She had an accident about nine years ago on her way back from performing, which she says she doesn’t remember what transpired but only found herself in a hospital with her legs hanging in the air and the doctor revealed to her that the only solution was to ampute both her legs. This is when she began accepting the reality that life can change at any moment.
“I wasn’t born without legs. I had an accident which claimed my legs and for over nine years now, I can only move with the aid of a wheel chair” – Onyameba Betty Official
She recounts that when this happened, all friends and family abandoned her and she cried all day as that was all that was left for her to do. Since then, she hasn’t stopped ministering. She is very much active with the things of God. She is always seen performing in churches on and off her wheelchair.
Onyameba says her life is a motivation to so many. Life is unpredictable and no one truly knows what tomorrow brings.
