For this edition of Gospel Ministers Across Africa (GMAA) we are shining the light on two inspiring gospel artists from Uganda who are capturing hearts with their uplifting melodies and powerful messages.
1. Levixone
Levixone’s music blends modern gospel sounds with traditional African rhythms, creating a unique and soul-stirring experience for his audience.
At 30 years old, he has become a prominent figure in the Ugandan contemporary gospel music scene. His song “Turn the Replay” has become a hit, resonating with listeners for its catchy dance hall beats and uplifting message of redemption and hope. Though the song was released in 2018, it remains a fan favorite.

2. Coopy Bly
Gospel singer is Coopy Bly, also known as Emmanuel Edwin Kusaasira, is another talented gospel singer from Uganda who has made a significant impact in the music industry.
At 34 years old, his soulful voice and inspiring lyrics have garnered him a dedicated following. His song “Byokola” showcases his ability to smoothly blend contemporary gospel with African influences, creating music that uplifts and encourages listeners.
His recent song “Afuga”, based on a true story, encourages Christians to never give up on trusting God even when they are passing through challenges. In Good and Bad times, God still reigns.
