I am also a strong supporter of women being educated as education is knowledge and knowledge is power. An educated woman has a better chance of making better decisions for her livelihood and as the saying goes “When you educate a woman, you educate a village”. Today I celebrate my mom and all the amazing women in my life like my sisters, aunts, cousins and women I have encountered overtime who work hard as wives, mothers, sisters, daughters, nieces and friends and more. You all deserve the very best in life and keep doing what you do! This one is for all of you! Before writing this post I was trying to think of things we as a society in general either need to enhance or completely eradicate as seen below:
In honor of today, I have picked three articles and/or stories that I found interesting to read that I hope would either inspire you about a woman or women or that will change your views and allow you to be more open minded to see and accept women as humans with feelings, emotions and rights. Feel free to read and share as sharing is caring! 🙂

Thank you for stopping by and reading this. What does International Women’s Day mean to you? xoxo… ME
