Salatiel deserves a cult-hero title for his work in the music industry, particularly the music industry in Cameroon. He is one of the few Cameroonian musicians who can stand toe-to-toe musically with many global artists. Besides his ability to sing, write, produce and perform, the Alpha Better Records CEO has proven to be a flexible team player over the years.
We all can relate to how far Alpha Better Records came as a group under his supervision. While this didn’t last a lifetime, the memories sure will. His success as an artist can be attributed to his smartness and hard work, and a name that must be mentioned in Salatiel’s success story is his manager Ade Bertrand.
Ade Bertrand has surely walked the talk with Salatiel. He is reputed for his contributions to the careers of Salatiel, Mr.Leo, Blaise B and Askia when they were under Alpha Better Records. He is a manager whose image has never conflicted with Salatiel’s at any given time. As a matter of fact, he was almost not present on social media at all, the reason why very little could be said about him.
After all the years of strategizing and exploring the music industry beyond Africa together with Salatiel, it is now rumored that he’s no longer Salatiel’s manager. It is unclear whether it happened amicably or not!
We can’t really confirm this rumor as Salatiel as never said anything about his manager’s departure, neither did Bertrand. Should the rumor be true, Salatiel will need to be given some thumbs up for filling the gap like nothing happened.
It’s true that nothing lasts forever, but the artist-manager relationship they both shared is one of those you’d wish never comes to an end. If it’s true that Bertrand is no longer Salatiel’s manager, does this mean that Salatiel has a new manager or is he managing himself?
