The time has finally come for Texas-based Cameroonian singer Tirajai’s debut EP “The Diary” to be released. We say finally because the singer has been anticipating this for a long time now and has expressed his excitement about this upcoming EP to our Editor-in-Chief on a few occasions. The Diary, which is set to be officially released on July 10th, 2018 is a 5 track EP made up of diverse musical genres with Afro-R&B/Soul and Pop being the most dominant. From the title of the EP, one can only assume that there will be some real life experiences being dished out in his songs or the EP might be a diary of his life so far but we would have to wait and see.
In “The Diary”, Tirajai tells a love story which starts off being dark in tracks 1 and 2 but gets brighter from tracks 3 to 5. All songs written and composed by Silas Tirajai based on true life story except for track 2 “Circles” released in 2017 which was co-written by Roqzen Finila. Tracks 1,2 and 3 were produced, mixed and mastered by Method J Tabiy while Track 4 was produced, mixed, and mastered by Dijaykarl Bongliy. Track 5 was produced by Abztrumental Ngitolang but was also mixed and mastered by Dijaykarl Bongliy. “The Diary” is available for pre-order right now on iTunes and will be released officially in all digital music platforms for streaming and download on July 10th, 2018 so pre-order yours now and wait for the official release in two days time.
