HOW LYRICAL JOE MADE HIMSELF A PREY FOR AFRICAN PREDATORS
The attention is now shifted to some versatile Cameroonian rappers who are out here to defend their industry.
Did Ghanaians say Cameroon didn’t have up to three rappers? Well, they might be proven wrong overnight.
We had earlier seen Poker Ship in “R.I.P” trying to take Lyrical Joe off the scenes, but while his vividness and foreign ascent might just be the reason why his diss song isn’t getting the attention yet, let’s take a look at King B aka Swag king.
Swag King is one of those hard fellows you don’t want to get on his nerves. He’s signed to 305 music, a label out here to rejuvenate Cameroonian rap by going back to originality (culture).
He might just be the solution to this rift. He came in with “1 Stone“, a track lyrical Joe might not be pleased with, but he’s surely getting what he asked for. There is just a lot he said in less than four minutes. What caught our attention more is him telling Lyrical Joe to take the “Joseph” and give him the “Lyrical”.
All this for Lyrical Joe? One might want to ask, but who’s to blame? He’s stuck in the middle and whether he makes it alive or dead, he must have shaken tables and made himself a prey for the predators. He even calls himself “Daddy“, so could he be the new Abraham that Africa never had?
If he successfully makes his way out of this tight middle then he might just live up to Abraham’s age.
