I Wasn’t Calling Out Mercy Chinwo, I Was Rather Calling Out The Label Owner Says Dr Roy

Popular gospel singer Mercy Chinwo, has been trending across the internet after her former producer Dr Roy opened up about the sad experience he had with the singer.

While speaking on a podcast, Dr Roy explained how he produced several hit songs for Chinwo but didn’t get any royalties from those songs. Hit songs like “Excess Love”, “Omekamnaya” and more were produced by him.

At the time, Mercy Chinwo was signed to Eezee Conceptz, the record label the producer later claimed he was calling out and not the “Satisfied” singer.

“I produced all Mercy Chinwo’s hit songs, worked day and night with her, but till today I’ve never gotten my royalties.

After severe social media backlash, the producer returned online to explain that he wasn’t calling out Mercy Chinwo, but the owner of the label she was signed to at the time.

“I wasn’t calling out Mercy Chinwo. When my father had stroke, she was the one who helped me. When my father died, she was the one who helped” says Dr Roy
