Neymar was so inconsolable after Brazil faced a shocking exit to 2018 finalists Croatia. The game had started well for the Brazilians in extra-time, when they went ahead through Neymar until Croatia equalized just five minutes to the end of prolongation to take it to penalties where Real Madrid forward Rodrygo and PSG defender Marquinios all missed to send Croatia into their two second semifinals in two years!
This was probably going to be Neymar’s last world cup if Brazil had won it. Croatia now face Argentina on Tuesday. Brazilian coach Tite resigned moments after Brazil’s shocking exit.
