Recording artist Daphne, is an example of a high profile feminist, leading her generation extremely well. With real names, Daphne Efunden Njie, but popularly known as Daphne, and born on September 20, 1989, she is a Cameroonian urban pop and R&B singer, songwriter and actress with scintillating vocals and her pivot has been the right attitude and a great team.
Daphne has been in the music scene since 2009 but her opportunity to make it big, which would see her take the lead role as one of the most decorated singers of her generation, would come in 2013 with the release of her unprecedentedly hit song “Rastafari”, which exposed her impressive talent first to the music industry in Cameroon and later to the world.
