Janelle Monáe needs a post of her own when it comes to the Met Gala fashion. Her style is always so unique and for those of you who follow her closely, I am sure she did not disappoint this time around. At this year’s MetGala2019 she had three hats stacked up on top of each other. Her dress was inspired by artists Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali and designed Christian Siriano.

In my humble opinion, Monae’s outfit was one of the most creative as the “eye with the exaggerating long lashes” that covered her breast were winking as she posed for the paparazzi who were having a field day with it.
EDITOR’S NOTE: This year’s Met Gala theme was “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” a play on writer Susan Sontag’s seminal essay, “Notes on Camp.” Camp here is defined as the “love of the unnatural: of artifice and exaggeration.”
