Jay-z’s Mom Ties The Knot With Long Time Girlfriend

Gloria Carter, the mother of billionaire rapper Shawn Carter (Jay-Z), has the media talking after she tied the knot with long time girlfriend Roxanne Wiltshire, in the Tribeca neighborhood in New York City.

The event was a star-studded affair with Jay Z leading the way like a proud son. Other guests included Kelly Rowland, Tyler Perry, Robin Roberts and Corey Gamble as reported by TMZ, with the reception wrapping up at around 1 AM.

The stars made their way into the Manhattan venue alongside Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles-Lawson and the singer’s cousin Angie Beyince while her faithful bodyguard Julius cleared the path.

Gloria Carter is the mother of four children and the CEO and co-founder of the Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund alongside her son Jay-Z, who established the foundation in 2003.
